Sr. UI/UX Designer

Goal: To redesign their green energy digital application for remote employees and customer users. Devices are tablets, laptops, and desktops.

Challenge: The company work application was not updated for over 10 years. Their business relied on green energy consultants to advise businesses on saving electricity.  The dashboard was heavily data-based and driven by real-time power usage.

Power TakeOff was also leaning towards business customers to monitor themselves with the app.

Approach: Extensive research on the users and the new users was conducted. I also helped set up the design workflow process so Power TakeOff leadership, the dev team, and I could work cohesively.

What I did with my team:

  • Researched and produced a competitive analysis
  • Conducted interviews and observations of potential users
  • Presenting UX research and digital strategy to corporate stakeholders
  • Created wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups with Invision prototyping
  • Developed brand web style guidelines
  • Implementing W3C Standards and best practices for all digital products
  • Conducting cross-browser testing and troubleshooting
  • Defining and gathering requirements for projects
  • Conducting meetings with management, digital teams, and corporation stakeholders on project status
  • Designed and developed the company’s website
